Great look xj.. Looks really tall for 4.5
I just ordered the 6.5
I would cut those rear shock mounts off and weld some higher up. The only thing is you might need new shocks.

Yeah, I would like to do that but I would rather not have to buy new shocks. Maybe If I upgrade to bilstiens I will buy the same length shocks but have hoops running up through the floor. Im going to keep it conservative for now though

Picked up a nice rear bumper, has d ring tabs and a hitch, enough to make me happy

Next Im going to bedline the bottoms of the doors and the rocker panels, as well as the lower 1/4 panel that is no longer covered by the bumper covers.
Might be getting a gas tank skid too

Heres my updated list of things to do...
*Gas tank skid plate
*shackle relocation brackets
*3/4", or 1" coil spacer (depends on height from relocation brackets
*New rims and tires (black rock crawlers, general grabber at2)
*Front bumper with winch mount
*bushwacker flarers
*8.25 diff guard
*Bedline doors and floors (after por15 )
*new front u-joints
Those are all my plans for this summer/fall. Next summer, I plan to re-gear, with selectable lockers, and truss the axles, and upgrade the shafts to cromoly with better u-joints. I might look in to some rock sliders as well.

lift performs great, your going to love it. My leaf springs are starting to fall apart, and a shock mount broke, but other than those tiny little things yeah its a good lift.
2.0 is just a joke.. came off my VW jetta. its got the 4.0 in it. Im actually looking for a fresh motor to put in it. the one in it now is alright but it is getting tired. Needs rings, and makes some weird noises.
