A Maine Jeep from Florida
So the story of this Jeep is.. It was in florida its whole life. My neighbors son moved up here and trailered the Jeep because it had a bad head gasket. They basically gave the thing to me because they knew I had an interest in them and would take care of it. I guess what I have to post in here is what goes to show what I had in mind from the start.
1998 XJ, 160k, 4.0/aw4/231/hp30 and 29 spline 8.25 Power windows, sun/moon roof, basic seats Heres how she started (I Painted the rims black..) http://photos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos..._7704503_n.jpg Put some Hella's and fog lights on it.. http://hphotos-snc3.fbcdn.net/hs154...._8381513_n.jpg Still has a florida temp plate http://hphotos-snc3.fbcdn.net/hs134...._1189825_n.jpg Changed the head gasket in my garage, and did a port and polish / valve job on the head. http://photos-d.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos..._8011882_n.jpg Supporting my Local club on the windshield http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c3...2/IMG_0028.jpg Got the interior set up with a compass/tilt/roll meter and a gps http://photos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos..._7996714_n.jpg Guess what these parts came with.... http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c3.../Diffguard.jpg Built a rear tool/tow stap compartment and built a 12" kicker cvr comp subwoofer in to it, and mounted my fire extinguisher on top. I have a little air compressor, some emergency food, and tools and stuff that goes neatly in the cubby. No leaks :sailor: No pics of that though. Thanks. I am picking up a rear bumper with a hitch built in to it, and d ring tabs. That way, I can take the hitch off and have more ground clearance. Front bumper and winch are next.

Gotta love Florida vehicles. I have a 100% Florida Jeep sitting in my garage right now.

hey guys, i'm moving up to maine in august. I live in florida now, going to mma. What tint windows you guys have. Im about to get my windows tinted and i looked up the law and it say 50 %.

Very nice build. Love the video!! I have a RC 4.5 inch lift right here waiting to get installed. I can't wait! Keep up the good work! :)

mines factory... I wouldn't go to dark up here, its not that popular and it doesn't really look that good. I wouldn't go any darker than what my windows are right now.:drink:
