Haha pirate 4x4s ghetto fab thread some of that stuff is horrid

 

Yeah the ghetto fab always makes me question man kind...
Anyway today I went and bought some new brake lines, fronts are from a 95 GMC c1500 2wd and they are 6 inches longer. And the rear is from a 96 Dakota and 6 inches longer.

So tomorrow the girl friend wants to see if her jeep can out flex the old yota, so I'll post some flex pics tomorrow!

 

better post both rigs so we can judge who wins!

 

Oh don't worry I will, these rigs flex pretty good with the coils. I'm not worried about flex in the toyota with lockers front and rear. Haha

 

K good I'd love to see it! Unlike a lot of guys around here I do have a sweet spot for yotas.

 

Yeah I'm pretty open minded about all 4wd rigs. . I'm also building An 82 CJ5 with my grandpa.. It's getting a 4bt cummins

 

Right on I'm also building a 1968 Jeepster Commando with my dad, soon as we get a little more going on it I'll start a build thread.

No I'm fairly old fashion, don't do Facebook/Instagram really. I post just about everything I do on here, I'll start a tread about it in a few days. I need to update my build thread on my xj I'll try to get to that tomorrow.

 

I almost forgot, I installed some rock lights in the front today, still need to finish up the rears.

 

Nice work! But I have I question, I see guys install these all the time but how often do you actually use them? I have never wheeled in the dark before, maybe I'm just weird! I've spun around in the mud late at night at parties before but that's about it. I guess I could have used them then but I didn't need them.

 

We got them for free, so might as well use them. She would probably only ever use them On a snow run as its getting darker. Or just for looks most likley. .

 

That's what I was thinking, probably don't get used to often, more just for looks. Good at least I'm not weird!
