Well guys, I'm neew to the whole off road world and jus picked up my first xj, as of right now its sitting stock. I picked up my jeep about a month ago off crags list for $900 bucks it is a 1996 4x4 with 205,000 on it. I have not done much to it besides under coating the lower 8" of the doors and rockers and also have installed a new stereo system with four tweeters six 5 3/4" and two 12" kickers. I have picked up 4.5" springs, leafs, front shocks, drop pitmint arm and with in the next month or so ill be ordering more parts for the xj first day I picked it up after painting lower doors and rockers

 

nice XJ! what future plans do you have for it?

 

Well I am going to be putting my 4.5 lift on with in the next month and over the summer will be looking in to a IRO long arm upgrade kit with 33's. When I order the iRO kit ill also be ordering 2" shekels, spring spacer , and shekel relocaters for my final hight at 6.5 and possible 35" thats still up in the air

 

Picked up my new rusty's shocks today fits 6.5 lift

 

Well picked up my Rugged Ridge SYE tonight got it for $100

 

4.5 lift Springs, leaves, lower control arms,drop pitman arm,

 

nice looking jeep. if you end up needing some help in the summer from may to september i live just north of you in libertyville and could always come down and help out.

Picked up my track bar today only things left niw are wheels and tires and puting every thing on next few weeks ill be lifting little red just waiting on my income taxs to come in now

 

You're getting a good pile of parts.... Your XJ doesn't look like it has more than 80,000 miles on it... The outside looks "MINT", how's the interior?

 

saggy headliner a crack in the dash um the floors are rotted out in the front passenger and driver side but I will be repairing those this summer and passengers front door. Is a different red. Other then that it runs there are minor rust spots kike the roof and lower quarter by the wheel well on drivers side only the size of a dime right now
