Yea I got it I just to lazy to fix it. Bc I am usually the only one in it besides my 3 yr old and he likes to play with the window. but maybe if I get bored enough i will see if that is the problem. I will start to keep an eye on craigslist to see if one comes up local. Yea nice Racks are hard to come by for free. So may I ask way your doing a 2in lift instead of 3?

No offense but try going to advance and have them recheck it. I went to autozone here and theres just pulled a code and they went in and printed out something that had mutiple things on it and didnt even have the actual things that was wrong. I went to advance and there machine said it was post 02 and i change it and it hasn't came back on. Jmo. On the alt I would check JY

Mostly because if I got three I need new shocks extended brake lines and a t-case drop. I don't really need a lift at all I just think it will add something.

Hey the way I think about it when something breaks & I need to fix it, is its a chance to upgrade!

You should look into a alternator upgrade! I believe the ones off the 4.7L v8 in the WJ's fit, you just have to grind down the house a smidge which takes seconds literally! Other than that its plug & play! Plus they should be as cheaper as a XJ alternator! I got mine for $32 at a junkyard lol.

Do a quick search & see what you can find. Its always worth it to upgrade!

Ok well in the past three days i have developed some starting issues. I already had the alternator ordered so I put that on Thursday. Yesterday i put on a new Crank Position Sensor and it starts better but it is still extremely hard to start when it is warm so i really dont even know. Ive heard that o2 sensors could cause this but i want your guys opinion because i would just hate to start throwing parts on.

Oh and btw changing the crank position sensor isnt as hard as people make it out to be. It is a very tight spot to wrench but i just unbolted the "shifter thing" from the side of the tranny and it was much better

Welcome to the Jeep world! you made a very nice choice mine is also a 99 Limited, but all black....If it's all stock I would recommend you put at least a small lift on it and bigger tires if you gonna off road at all, mine drags in the snow and on rocks on trails so I'm gonna have to do the same.....
