I didnt want to make a build thread at first because everything has been going so slow but i just thought what the heck ill do it anyway. So here it is, i have owned this jeep since the beginning of october 2011.she was bone stock when i got her and had 165,XXX miles on her. Traded in my old beat up ford taurus so i only had to pay 3,000 for it which wasnt bad.





Its a 2001 With all the goodies. D30 up front, 8.25 in the rear. Ran great when i got her then the next day the power steering pump went out. so that was the first thing i had to fix.

From then on it has been like a dream come true, except in my dreams i would have endless amounts of money and nothing would ever screw up.

Anyway so then it started. I was working a couple of jobs and saving for school last fall so the upgrades to a little while to start. The first one was in november, i got a nice panasonic head unit off ebay for 40 bucks because the jeep didnt even have a radio in it. i couldnt stand driving around just listing to the sound of the air blowing though the window. So i put it in a bam, music.



After that in january right before leaving for school, i had finally gotten some money saved up and ordered a lift. 3.5" Rubicon express super ride. This is a nice entry level lift kit and i love it. Got some 31" Goodyear Wrangler A/T's to go with it on some d windows. i love the look.
It wasnt bad putting it on. The front was easy. took a couple hours, then got to the back. that took 2 days. broken bolts and more broken bolts.





Since then it has been relatively slow due to being at school, having no money, and having no garage. I have been able to do a few minor things.
fixed that saggy old headliner during spring break...



I thought the back was a good color to go with the interior. who ever thought tan would go with dark grey? anyway, i even took out the dome lights and speakers grills and painted them black. it really changed how the inside looks.

And the most recent things i have done are bored throttle body, 784 injectors (did those today) and Plum's cb antenna mount. havent been able to get my cb hooked up yet though.






Here is how she looks today with the fenders off because i have some bushwacker flat flares sitting in my room taunting me as we speak. i just need a cutting tool so i can get them put on.





So my plans for it are as follows:
these will be within the next month or so
Lift it up to about 5.5"
-2 inch spacers(sitting at home)
-1 inch shackles plus RC shackle relocation
Extended break lines up front(sitting in the back of the jeep)
Bushwackers(sitting in my room)
RC Control arm drop with adjustable uppers and lowers(sitting at home)
Bedline rockers

I wish i was at home or hand access to some tools. these flares are sitting here just collecting dust.

so it turns out the the 784 injectors i got were not 784's. they are ford somthing or other. i need to get a cai a little sooner than i planned and looks like im getting some 33's to go with the bigger lift.

It really would and I was so excited to get them on but I had to sell them to help my dad. He just got.put in the hospital. But I guess that's how it goes, he took care of me when I was young, now I have to take care of him when he is old. Ha
