I'm planning on doing 1 tons in the near future and can't decide on the 78-79 d60 or an 80's d60. I've hear on the 78-79 the drive shaft will be real close to the oil pan and are clearance issues. But then on the 80's there is barely any room for coil buckets. Did u run into any problems?

Na I didn't run into problems I did move it forward 3" tho.. and on the newer 60s you can cut part of the cast and run the same coil buckets I used and be good!
