shes back on the road! needs a better alignment but got it wrapped up last night. didnt snag a pic yet but i did add a steering slabilizer. need to paint the rear axle and drag link as well
needs bigger taars!
ended up needing shorter shocks out back. i think im going to redo the lower mounts so i can run a longer shock. these are for an 80s toyota van. momroe 31000. only 7.5" of travel, but for dd duty and the light wheeling itll see (mostly forest roads) theyll work for now
next on the list is re-gear the front, and hopefully a locker, when i get the funds . not sure if i want to lock the front or rear first though

got some more work done on my bumper
then decided to test fit it. was a bit snug, but i got er on. all grade 8 hardware in 3/8,7/16, and 1/2 inch flavors
not sure if i want to cap ends or add the side pieces i already cut... ill decide when i yank it off for some more bracing and paint

havent done much but daily this lately. changed out my throttle cable since the old one had a bad kink in it making the pedal super stiff. much smoother now. one thing about the cable i bought, it was SLIGHTLY to short so i had to massage the cable bracket to allow the throttle to close completely. also got reminded that the NSS is bypassed... need to dig into that soon
dirty engine bay makes that new cable pop lol
mounted a flashlight to the center console
bumper got nice and rusty, need to make time to pull it off for paint. picked up these shackles from qudratec (also where i got the cable) to complete the mall crawler status

ugly bettys headgasket s##t the bed...
started running warm on me the other day. i had already replaced the sticking tstat so thought maybe the water pump was the culprit as it would only get warm at idle. threw a new pump at it, drove it to work. same thing . driving home temp hit 245-250ish and never came down (only 3.5 mile drive)
side of the block is coated in rusty looking coolant. know what im doing this weekend...
