So replacing my serpentine belt I noticed that the harmonic pulley (crankshaft) was seriously popped off. Ordered the new parts and going to take a stab at it. Any advice?

Don't drop the key-way into the oil pan!

They make a harmonic balancer puller. You'll need one. They're cheap.

Well. Nothing really exciting. I was able to locate and resolve most of the electrical issues I was having. The biggest of which was the hack job of a radio replacement that had overwritten the power down function when the key was pulled. It had all kinds of implications keeping the security features running along with who knows what. Not sure if the power drain caused the battery to go out but had to replace it. replaced the cracked battery tray and cables/connectors. theres a crushed tube to the left of the battery that I assume is the vacuum tube ...correct? best fix a repair or replace job ? know I'll what something bigger when the time comes but got a standard dura last for now. Successfully switched the harmonic balancer which might be easy but was my first real mechanic thing to accomplish.

I have a plan to fix my rear floor plan ... Just need a free Saturday and a matching donor.

I'm on to suspensions now. I'm thinking I want 31's but am trying to decide between a 3 to 4.5" lift. I think I understand it but can someone talk me through the difference between an AAL and getting a whole to leaf spring? Does an AAL just stiffen or do you actually get some height too?

Also, my Fog light switch connections were completely melted. Was able to piece the connection together and verify the only problems with the fog lights are the switch... Woohoo light upgrades coming soon too!

AAL's add lift but they don't last near as long as a full leaf pack. If you intend to keep this Jeep for an extended period of time I'd go with a 3" coil spring and 3" full leaf pack.

Wow, can't believe I haven't posted since January. It did sit there for a few months. But let's see, the previous owner must of been one heavy son of a gun because the seat brackets under the driver side were bent to Asia. Pulled the brackets and replaced them with JY pull at 1/2 price day. Found an old CB in my aunts garage and found some fixings for it. Replaced the tps iac and did a full tune up. Switched to royal purple. Replaced the center console thermometer (read 45*F when it was 101*F). Been coating with a PBS blaster getting ready for my lift. Repaired the vacuum line so my cruise control works and my a/c doesn't just blow out the defrost.

Did the 784 injector swap thanks to 'XJ mulisha' s 50$ kit. PM him for fast service, JY + time + supplies can't beat that. Great throttle response!! I think he does the 704s too.
