Default Jeep build take 2

Picked up a new Cherokee yesterday. 98 4.0 auto 4x4. 117000 on the clock, got it for 2300 which is way below kbb here in Hawaii. Ordering lift kit, bushwackers and 33's duratracs on black 15x8's today

Going to start the soaking process tonight. Ordered All the parts too. Sucks being in Hawaii cause you spend a ton of money and then have to wait for three weeks for the stuff to get there

Turned around today and found something I hadn't noticed before... a speaker bar. Big stride from the one speaker I had in my first Cherokee

Gonna start soaking today, should be about a week before the kit shows up. Hopefully by then the bolts will be taking themselves out

Getting ready to do the "just bought this car" fluids swap. So I went out to the jeep the other night to add seafoam and noticed this place was missing something. Posted pic to forum to figure out what it was and it's just a dust cap, but the car is new to me and of course I need to replace it. Calling orieleys today

Discovered today that this xj has the up country suspension upgrade . Suspension stuff is irrelevant considering I'm take all that stuff off in a week, but the rear diff was good news. Also came stock with tow hooks and something about extra fan to keep it cool during 4wd. Really seems like I got a great deal here.

Current radio. Looks about 10 years old with no aux hookup. In today's iPhone age can't have that. So I picked up a new one today. Waiting on my buddy to call back to help put it in. I'm clueless when it comes to audio. Should go great with the speaker bar I discovered in the trunk compartment.

We're you able to slide another pioneer right in there? That was the goal when I bought pioneer again, but I'm still waiting on a call back from stereo guy

Rc, x-series 4.5 lift. I've gone through them before and wasn't 100% angry with it. Only issue I had before was the stiffness of the coils. I've hears a lot of good things about this lift though

I didn't order another pioneer I ordered a JVC-X40 plus it's still on the way lol and since the new mounting kit was only 5 bucks I ordered that too. But I don't see why it wouldnt work though. the mounting hardware is all standardized so as long as your new radio is a 1-DIN it should fit no problem.

You shoulda gone with iro man. They have some solid stuff. Helped my uncle install his 6.5" long arm from iro and everything was pure beef. He says it rides way better than he expected too. I'll def be going with them when I order my lift. This is a pic of his when we finished. But it's your jeep build it how you want it man just throwing my 2 cents out there. Can't wait to see yours installed though. What tires you go with?
