Are you talking about swapping in a factory gauge cluster with a tach?

Haha yeahh me too, it kills me that they made the gas gauge so freakin huge so we wouldn't forget to fill it up! :P If I find one for the right price I may, but I really hate having the wrong mileage.

Hey all,
A few days ago I realized my right rear shock's "dogbone" that's what I call the piece that connects the top of the shock to the body, was broken completely and my shock was just hanging there. I figured no problem my lift was supposed to be in soon and I'd slap on my jk rubi shocks, well my lift arrived today but since I ordered it I've been reading up on death wobble, and I'm too terrified to install a lift on a truck that has 190k and some worn tie-rod ends and bushings, I'm in college and not made of money. Sooooo I decided to wait on the lift until this summer when the money is flowing, and for now I installed some new rear shocks. The first pic is just the broken shock, second is the old rear shocks after sitting for an hour (zero rebound) And the third my new shocks. After installed a nice firm difference was noticed.

These are coming off of the coil of course. Anyhow had to cut up the mounting braket and re-weld it so that it would lay nice and flat on my dash. I also used two-part epoxy to attach it to my dash. I used it on my other gauges and it turned out well so we'll see how it holds up.

kinda makes me want to get a tach. i have a 97 se 5 speed

It's really nice to have one, mine's an automatic but I still want a tach. I love the location I have it in too, not in my way or there for everyone to see like a tuner would do, but really easy to see and get a good read from.

So I've been building pic one over the past couple days but today I got a few minutes to toy around withg the jeep. I have had a theory since day 1 that my jeep has taken a massive jump at one point and tore the front diff up bad, or someone hooked a chain to the diff and in an attempt to pull it out of a ditch, once again tore the fron diff out. One reason I believe this is all the welds holding the lower trailing arm brackets on look like someone did them with a stick welder. So I decided to weld them properly, as well as weld the seam in the wheel well even tho it's spot welded it couldn't hurt right?
