I'm not a Packers Fan!
Hey everyone,
I decided to create a build thread, I'm new to Jeeps and 4x4 building, my last project was a 83 camaro iroc-z clone with a built 355, but this summer I found a cherokee for 1400 bucks with 184 thousand miles, rebuilt tranny 5 thousand ago, and brand new 31 ta/ko's. I have had a lot of fun with it, and want to document my progress so I will bring you guys up to speed as I get time but for now I'm gonna start by just posting some pics. I love to take pics of my jeep so this will prob. be a pick heavy build thread. I should be doing a 2 inch budget boost within the next few weeks pics will be up asap. The pic below is where I started after a good washing

Here's some pics after I removed the stock fenders, trimmed them, and bedlined em'. I used duplicolor bedliner, then painted over that with duplicolor trim paint for color constancy.

I also painted the diff covers yellow, and painted the jeep badges on the front yellow. Also the interior cleaned up pretty well minus the strawberry lube found below the back seat...

That's flat rock river (Indiana), it's actually my family's property minus public water rights, the Indiana state record small mouth was caught just a mile up stream

Okay so here's some more lol. The first pic is just to show you all the **** I carry. A full mechanics set, hilift, 12 gauge, antifreeze, wiring kit, and hitches and chains. Second is the firestick I installed along with the cb in pic 3, Also note the gauges I installed just a few days ago. It only came with the face bezel and I fabbed up the rest.

That's a nice looking Jeep you have there. I have the same type of sub, two of them though. They definitely rock the XJ!
Good luck with the build, I'll follow it!

How did you paint your logos? Some of mine are faded and I'm looking to paint them black but want it to stick, and not have overspray of course! Rig looks good!
