In Houston rust is not a problem but mold is. The hole in the roof where the wiring for a light bar was made was not sealed after removal of the light bar. The result is mold on the headliner board where water got in.

Headliner done in bedliner...... FAIL
The rubber particles in the Herculiner would not stick to the headliner only to the roller. I took it back and tired the spray can stuff. Just not a good idea.
I did manage to pull off all of the fender flares and get the new front end on.
After getting everything off, I decided to go for a cruise. Well guess what, AC will only blow thru the vents used for defrost. Did some searching on this site and found that bad vacuum lines can cause this. I located one of the lines near the battery and guess what, big hole and the line is very brittle. This is the line I tugged on after removing the passenger front molding and saw this line attached to a round ball looking thing attached to the front bumper.
Headed to the parts store now to see id a new section of hose here will fix the AC problem.

The interwebs is awesome. Vacuum hose replaced, AC working just fine now. Back in the day no telling how much that would have cost me to get someone figure out what the heck was wrong.

1999 for the win!
What happened to the center console man? Looks like someone shot it with birdshot lol.
Some TLC and it's gonna turn out real nice.

I changed the rear main seal and the oil pan gasket yesterday. After doing some reading about the oil filter adapter mod, I did that also. So, I should be oil leak free for a while. Fingers crossed. I drove around today for about 15 miles and all seems to be ok.

Great start man, it looks like your build is going to be nice. As far as the ceiling goes... you might want to figure out a way to seal the whole so you can use it again if you plan on wiring in lights or what not.... Also you should bedline the ceiling itself not the fiberglass insert haha.

Today I changed out the plugs, wires, rotor and cap. I also ordered the Rusty's Off Road 3" lift with complete springs.
Looks like next weekend will be busy.
