I drove my Cherokee over to a friends house and then was thinking I haven't checked my power steering in a while. I opened the cap and it released pressure. I'm wondering aren't these supposed to be vented? Maybe my cap is bad and not venting properly causing it to push fluid out the reservior o ring.

Well I was having grounding and open issues with the CB stuff really just stupid little things, well I got all the grounding and continuity fixed, but now it still has a little over 3 on the swr on channel 1 and a little higher on 40. I'm wondering if having the base of the antenna in the fender slightly is messing up my SWR. I've never been a radio expert, but from what I can tell the hot has continuity with the antenna, the antenna mount is grounded, the ground on the coax has continuity with ground, and it just doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Also, I tried to install a multiplexer so I could run the am/fm/cb all off one antenna and that was a bust. So right now it's cb straight to coax straight to antenna and crappy SWR. I can hear much farther than I ever have, but I don't want to burn my radio up transmitting.

Wheeled it yesterday, only carnage was when I jumped it in the junkyard and the fan ate the fan shroud. Well and some scuffs and scratches on the cage and armor, but that's what it's there for, right? Not really sure how the fan moved that much since I have brown dog mounts, but I'll look into it some after I finish this lab report. Also, stuck a different antenna on and got the SWR slightly below 3, but still not great. Thinking I might should order a new coax possibly. I don't know enough about radios to diagnose it well.

Here it is with a Wilson 2000 trucker.

Put a new gauge and o2 sensor in today. I don't know why it quit working, but man AEM has some good customer service. Sent them an email asking what the issue might be, they asked for the serial number and stuff and then next email was a shipping confirmation. Next day air with a return label in the box.

Finally finished the steering box rebuild and the steering is super tight and I had the drag link off so I finally centered my steering wheel.

Well I tried to add pictures, but they're too big or something. So close your eyes and picture a shiny steering box and a kinda crusty JCR steering box spacer. Painted the steering box all fancy, but just threw the used spacer in. Surprisingly my factory aluminum one was not broken.

Not sure how many of these are the same as 97+, at the very least the hatch is the same.
