Quote: Well I drove it like 40 miles I think today back from work. Held gear on hills and a lot peppier. Now I just need a new speedo gear because it says I'm going 80 when I'm going 55ish (according to a phone app I downloaded for free) rpms weren't too high. Definitely happy with it, but we'll see the gas mileage numbers...
Sweet! I still can't decide which ratio to go with. Do I need 35's? Nope. But they just look so damn cool .

Keep us informed.

I'll keep informed. I think I need another passenger side hub. there's a pulsing vibration coming from that corner. It was there before the gear install, but it seems more noticeable now.

only thing is everything is new up front. I guess it could be a u joint but man that would be a lot of vibration from that.

I can pull it, but that seems like it would be right under my feet not off to the side...

Well the jeep is going back under the knife again. Hopefully I'll get it back before the end of the weekend.

the guy who did the gears is taking care of it even though it's not his fault that the bearing was faulty. He's even driving an hour to come trailer it back to his place.
