Hopefully I'll get a bit better gas mileage, and I believe they'll perform well offroad. I can typically keep up decently well.

I don't usually tell people this because they think its BS but I've averaged over 18 MPG for a tank on multiple occasions with those tires and 3.55 gears driving highway, only around 60 mph tops and coasting when possible but still pretty impressive.

Well I'm rocking 4.56 and 31s so maybe it'll get better with these haha

I believe you! I have got as high as 23 mpg with my last XJ (3.07s and 31s) and get a pretty consistent 21 mpg with my current one (3.73s and 31s). Combined city/hwy driving goes down to 17-18 mpg.

Lead foot! Its all that drifting you have been doing. Should be a little better with the 33s. I typically cruise at 70 mph which is like 2500 rpms.

Shoot even just cruising down the highway sucks. I can pull a trailer or do only highway empty or do tons of city and it barely changes ever.

Better question is how are you calculating mileage? Is your speedo accurate? If the speedo isnt accurate, your fuel consumption will never be accurate since you really dont know how many miles you drove.

Speedo is accurate (well up till the 33s) and I'm calculating by how many miles and how many gallons it takes to fill up. Always just fill up till the pump cuts off.

Ouch. You got problems then. When was the last time you got a tune up? Cap, rotor plugs? O2 sensor?

Doesn't make a difference when I did any of that, reset the computer afterwards, new exhaust manifold, new injectors, bored and cleaned throttle body, and I don't think any of it has really changed the mileage.

im seeing 15 highway at 75-80mph and a consistant 14 city driving with 33's and ax-15 and 3.55's all gps calculated on the MJ, which is a lighter and not boxy, and engine running top notch, so i dont think you are to far from normal being slightly heavier and with the AW4. That Roof Rack will Kill mileage. I gained 2mpg on the low end whenever i took mine off the Xj. night and day difference. so much better that i just left it off unless i was headed up to the mountains.

Honestly couldn't even tell a difference when I had everything including the factory rack off of mine. I think it's just geared so low nothing affects it. I know at work last summer we had a truck and it was a 2015 chevy 2500 hd, 10.6 or 10.7 mpg whether it was empty, pulling a trailer, highway or city. It got the same.

Well I have a list of things that I plan to try and finish before the end of summer. I believe this is the approximate order they will go in, and at the end I'll add some clarifications.

-2x6 rockers
-bumpstops
-frame stiffners
-tie 2x6 to frame stiffners
-cables and winch setup for front or rear

The top 4 are definitely happening. The last is if everything with the red jeep pans out how I plan and I make a decent bit this summer or find great deals on all parts needed.

The 2x6 rockers are probably coming first since I have someone who agreed to do some welding for me in exchange for some work for him. He'll be ordering some steel soon and I hope I might get to lump into his pile and get it cheaper. Also I recently got both rockers on a trip. Hopefully it will at least stiffen the Cherokee some before the stiffners get installed. Next, the bumpstops because I can't wheel my jeep with the 33s till I bumpstop since I'd destroy my fenders. Then the frame stiffners since they will cost a good bit to buy and a lot of prep work and install time. Also haven't decided if I'm doing just mids or mid and front or mid front and rear. Then I'll tie the 2x6 into the frame stiffners since they'll be there. Then I'd like to do the winch and cables stuff. Also, it would be nice somewhere in there to get boostwerks shackles and relocate the rear shocks higher. But nothing is extremely urgent at the moment.

Also, if anyone wants to help it would be greatly appreciated wether it's tips and tricks for what I want to do, helping me find a deal or physically helping with some of the work that I plan to get done.
