High School Build, 98 limited
Welp here goes, I bought my first jeep on a high schooler budget working at a local bike shop. I bought it in late august, with a few leaks and a bad motor mount. Drove it home an hour and a half with out any problems! It is a 98 Limited with 168*** miles on it. 4.0 i6 automatic with a 242 tc and a 8.25 rear axle. First day i got it a couple of friends and I decided to do a little bit of testing haha

After about a week went by i finally cleaned it up inside and out and made a light bar. I was still flat broke so i just threw these on for a couple weeks. They look ridiculous but o well.

Not much went on after that except fixing leaks, oil pan, valve cover, front and rear difs all were leaking and needed new gaskets. Just before snow fell in the middle of november i went to the JY and bought a front skit plate. Brought it home cleaned it up and put a couple coats of paint on it.

And finally where I currently am... a friend of mine and I welded up brackets for front D- rings. I installed those last night along with 4 hella 500's on my roof. I also installed a small fuse block to run all my lights and acc. off of. I decided to put all of my switches in the garage door opener section of my over head compartment and used a trailer plug so i don't have any leaks in the future!

Just the skid plate after i painted it and a picture of the fuse block i put in. I drilled a couple holes in the firewall and put it right up next to the steering column. Works great so far!

Well nothing has really changed lately. But good news is I have finally decided what I am going to do as far as a lift. I am going to do a rustys 4.5 wheel and tire complete package with 33 in Mickey thompson baja mtz's. I will run that for a little bit until I have enough to order a IRO long arm upgrade.
Anybody have any input about this?

I put my lift in yesterday. It's a rustys 4.5 spring pack and I also put my lift shackles and spacers on so it sits around 6 inches of lift. The tires i went with are 33x10.5 km2's. still waiting for the wheels from a friend. What do you guys recommend for a pitman arm drop?

I am deffinately in the market for some long arms. The stock upper control arms are not cutting it. Also I think ill need to buy a new pitman arm. The stock one is too short.
