Nice build brother! Ive got a question about your rock shifter. Is it possible for it to be mounted towards the passenger side more? I want to get one and put the Baja shifter to the left of it. Just wanted to see your thoughts on it.

hey guys, well got all moved in, aaaand I sold my XJ
actually traded it for a 2004 Subaru WRX wagon...

buuuut I'm currently looking for another jeep to build.
this time it will be a dedicated trail rig though :thumb up:

plans as follows...
4" lift with 32's like my last build, probably fab my own long arm setup.
sticking with 4.56's again, auto locker in the rear, E-locker up front. Chyco 8.25" of course.
building a motor right now out of a 98', bored .10 over, flat top aluminum pistons, ect. not going stroker on this one, maybe throw in a Crower cam.
Borla header with custom fab 2.5" exhaust, catless.
bored throttle body, custom fab intake, 99' intake with 0663 cast head.
MSD coil, run plugs @ .046, deck the head, 91 octane only.

i'll update as soon as I find another XJ, I'm sooo picky so it'll take awhile.
has to be 1997 to 1999. has to have Chryco 8.25, dana HP. no coil on plug ignition. and has to be an auto, I don't like shifting when wheeling lol

I just prefer a dizzy and those coils are spendy if they ever go out. I plan on an MSD ignition system is another reason.
I haven't found a jeep I like yet though :/ I'm getting frustrated!
