well i just purchased a 1998 Cherokee sport, has 135,000 miles on it. came lifted...3" rustys lift with AAL and some crappy 31's
havent done much so far....got new tires and bed lined below the trim...this is how she looks now.....
and to come
-4.6 L stroker
-black crager soft 8's
-fender trim and bushwacker fenders
-4.5" RC long arm kit
-new tires probably 32's
-custom fab front and rear bumper
-JCR low pro roof rack
-auto locker in front and aussie locker in back
-winch and all the other recovery goodies

not hard at all. just got to get a crank and rods from a 4.2L and bore the block. there are all sorts of stroker kits out there. the engine im puttin in isnt a stroker though it came outta of a 99' and was my first rebuild so kinda a practice runner. that and found out that the 98+ blocks arent prime candidates for a stroker due to a camshaft redesign. im goin to build a stroker this summer with a 97' or earlier block, and the head from a 93-95. i chose this combo because of the older single groove valves on the head and the block still uses the older cam design.

well got the engine in. running great except that she vibrates a lil around 2500-3000 RPM. dunno what thats about. gonna break her in a bit and if i doesnt go away im going to the machine shop and causin hell, cause its most likely the rotating assembly, and i didnt do any of that *****
crossing my fingers tho.... hopefully it works itself out....
