i found a ford 8.8 out of a 97 explore for 175 i was wondering if it is a good buy and what all do i need from the explore the make it work in a 92 cherokee thanks

spring perches, shock mounts, ZJ proportioning valve (because of the rear disc brakes)....and make sure you have matching gears in your front end
Exploders came with either 3.55, 3.73, or 4.10 gears, XJ's came with 3.55s in the autos and 3.07s in the manuals
