Yeah man, I'm really surprised that was the case, but no worries! I appreciate your help and I'm still super pumped to be running your setup! I'll definitely be posting pics of everything.

Good looking XJ. I like the way you're setting it up. I wish I'd went with the OME lift.

Thanks man! Yeah, I've been pretty happy with it, but honestly, by the time I'm "done" with the suspension, it'll pretty much be a "custom" setup. Stay tuned!

A set of 4 of these bad boys showed up on Tuesday. They're meatier than I thought. I've seen them before, but wasn't until I had my hands on them that I noticed.

Good choice. I'll believe those are the most aggressive AT

Thanks! The wheels are 15" Mammoth Boulders I ordered from Extreme Terrain. I was looking for a 16" wheel and was gonna go 265/75/16's myself, but all the 16" wheels I found were less back spacing and I wanted to keep it at 3.75". They're actually "TJ wheels", but as we all know it's the same bolt pattern.

The wheels I currently have on are OK (15" American Racing), but I wanted something a little more "sleek" looking.

Duratracs are 31x10.5x15's. I would have gone with 32's if they made them. I look forward to getting them installed.

Appreciate it! I was having a tough time deciding between black and gunmetal. Either would have looked good, but I'm just a fan of black wheels in general, so I went with what I knew I'd be happy with.

Hopefully have some updates after the weekend on some stuff if the weather allows. Weather completely screwed me last weekend, but it's looking like it'll be decent this weekend. Fingers crossed.

Back with another "non" update. Travelling for work and weather have been keeping me from working on the Jeep. Now that it's winter I'll be hard pressed to get much of anything done. Build plan is still the same.

I did however find a hobby for the winter, and of course it's not cheep. My new XJ RC. Obviously it needs some paint and I'm waiting on a couple electronics for it, but this thing is awesome! It flexes like mad, and I can't wait to get it running. I may post a couple things here and there about it since I can't wrench on the real thing.

First upgrade... set of beadlocks! And they are legitimate beadlocks. They don't lock from the outer ring like the real thing, but it's a 3 piece that locks/bolts together in the center. No need for ****ty tire glue that's needed on standard RC wheels. Check out those KO2's as well!!

I have a 4wd Traxxas Slash, its a ton of fun. Not a crawler type but I jump the crap out of it, race against buddies and its stupid fast.

Parts are relatively cheap and they are easy to maintain/fix.
