Duratracs are a good tire. You'll like em. Be aware they do run small though

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the BFG AT's do too. Really just not sure what else to go with. May wear faster, but considering I see snow at least 4 months of the year, seems like a good choice. Plus I really wasn't too happy with the AT's in the rain, snow, and ice.

They're the smoked ones, not the clears. Ordered them here...

I like those way better on the Jeep than in the eBay picture. I've had them saved in my cart for a while but thought they looked to dark. They are that good amount of smoked, not completely black. Any pictures of them with the flashers on?

Here ya go. Can see them just as good. The sides aren't that bright but they never really were. Way better than spraying them with the night shade stuff.

This happened yesterday... V8 ZJ tie rod upgrade, drag link, and TRE's.

I actually took a "sick" day from work to get it done. Only somewhat cooler day of the week/weekend. Thought it would go smooth, but never does. Took me like 6 hours to remove, install, and do my own alignment. I wanted to do this cause I'm fighting a shimmy in the steering wheel/front end. Pretty sure it's my tires but wanted to take care of this before dropping the coin on that just to be sure. Steering is WAY tighter now, but I still have the shimmy (not as severe now). Probably go to a shop and grab some Duractacs like I mentioned before. Really haven't been too impressed with the BFG's. They're not very good in rain and snow, even when everything was good. So I'm gonna change it up.

Also, these delivered to my work on Tuesday! I really like these wheels! They are actually TJ wheels (same bolt pattern as XJ) and are hub-centric, so they should fit, but I'll do a test fit before mounting anything just in case. If all fits well, I'll be mounting the new tires to these obviously.

(Don't mind the mess, we are remodeling)

Well, it's been a while since I updated, and although it's not much of an update, wanted to post something.

Replaced the valve cover gasket a few weeks back. Took care of most of my oil leak but not all (oil filter adapter o-rings already replaced). Next is rear main and I think I'll be good.

CavFab 3 link SHOULD be going in this weekend. Tried to take care of it a couple weeks ago and this past weekend, but trans mount didn't line up along with some other minor issues. Turns out there are two different trans mounts (centered and offset), and the crossmember was designed for the one I didn't have (centered). Donovan (CavFab) bought and sent me the right one, but now after messing with it, I decided I'm going to sand everything down and repaint it. If that goes smooth, I'm gonna get my metalcloak coils and my clayton double sheer track bar/bracket installed. Fingers crossed that all goes well, but not gonna get ahead of myself.

Question for you guys. The clayton TB bracket calls for a couple welds. Unfortunately I can't weld or know anyone who does, so you guys think some blue or red loctite will keep the TB bracket bolts from loosing on me?

Its really odd that there are 2 different trans mounts. We weren't aware of this but will tweak the design to work. Let us know if we can help further
