Default First Jeep build

Picked up my first XJ a couple months ago and started work on it right away. Its been slow due to work and school taking up all my time and money but here it is so far: 2000 XJ Sport

How I got it sitting on bald 30s and ugly @$$ rims

Took care of some of the lower rust spots with some sanding and spray on bed liner:

Yay..Rough Country

Got rid of the crap tires/rims with Wrangler MTR 31s on AE rims:

Painted the rims the next day:

Couple smaller mods:

overhead console from a 2000 Classic

Cheap driving lights

Heres to not losing my flashlight again

Looking good man! I like the bedlinered rails. I've been contemplating doing that and painting my rims. What paint did you use for your rims?

Did you remove your tail lights when you bedlined the rear quarters?

Thanks guys....still have big plans for the winter

Anyway....its Duplicolor sprat on liner. I used the same stuff on my 99 Blazer with out any problems so I went with it again. I went through a full case, though only because I kept layering it until I was out. So its has a nice thick coat.

As for the wheels I used Rustomium Professional series Metallic Midnight Black.

And no, I did not have to remove the tail lights.

Well, on break from classes so I have been hitting the rust spots. I have a few more to go but got the floors coated. Next up was the rock chips in the hood and all the little rust spots. Also got the vents on.

Next step is to put a decal on either side of the hood. Just deciding what to put there. Here is the leading idea:

Other options are:
Cherokee
Zombie Outbreak Response Vehicle
Expedition XJ
and thats about it so far...lol

any suggestions?

I was just asking a question. The only reason i ask is because mine was messed up when the dealership fixed my xj the day i got it.
