it shouldn't...think of it this way it's pretty much the same thing as running a catback dual exhaust just won't be running the tailpipes out the back...unless you wanna do it like that
Hey man what finish was the krylon fusion paint you guys used to paint the trim parts? It looks really good, but is it semi-gloss or satin? I am gonna pick up some to do the trim for my rig.

Hey man i have a 99 cherokee same thing
no lift yet but i have huge plans in the future... what i did do is my exhaust, this is what i did and it sounds and performs awesome!...
Gale Banks Engineering Header
Magnaflo high flow Cat. (universal is fine)
Flowmaster super 44 muffler.
I spent a long time researching this and this in my opinion is the best for the cherokee.
And sounds great with a bypass if you wanna have a bit o fun! As for backpressure, don't really worry about it. the important thing is flow. this hold back pressure just fine and runs much better now that it can breath better.
P.S. this will increase your MPG too!! we all know the cherokee 16mpg... it will suprise you..

But then you wouldnt be able to stop.............
My ZJ is getting like 12 to 13 mpg right now with the area I am driving in. The over head says I am getting like 18 to 21 while doing 55 to 60 mph but my average is around 12 to 13 for the most part.
