Default Fender trimming time..

I've got a xj sitting on a 3" rough country lift with 31x10.50 tires with 3.75 back spacing. The problem is my tires are rubbing the fender flares and it looks like I'm gonna have to do some trimming. So I was wondering if any of you guru's would know how much I should trim off. And also, I'd like to put flares back on it so if anyone has suggestions pleaseeeee let me know. Thanks guys.

Don't put stock flares back on after you trim. It looks redivulous. Get aftermarket or nothing at all. The front I'd cut along the outer line and the rear you can only cut and fold and you can't go past the pinch weld. Just my opinion though.
