On the doors I just looked at a few different write ups and winged it. I've got alot if stuff to come. 1 ton axles and 5.3 swap

 

'Bout time you clearanced that thing... one of the best things I've done to mine thus far.

 

Ya ya ya lol. I'll cut even more out once I get the new axles and tires on.

 

I've discovered it's a lot easier to get the back done right than the front... just 'cause the back is a little more rigid... cuts easier and easier to work with.

 

Got the rear done roday. Much easier than the front as Basslicks stated. Didn't fold the quarters yet

Well, I could probably get an unwrecked one for the same price. Guy didn't know the mileage. I hook a battery up and hooked my data reader. 285k miles. Still wouldn't come down on price. Ohh well. I've got all summer/fall/winter to find one

 

Yeah, you'll find one. Go get someone's old work truck or something.

 

Ya I'm not rushing it. I'd honestly like to find a 3/4 ton with the 5.3, it'd give me a better transmission. I'll probably use the 241 case as well. Bolts right up and has correct drop.
