I got the seat mounts tied into the cage today
Lower B pillar

Passenger side seat mounts

Driver side

i got some 4.5" polyurethane bumps for the rear

a spintech muffler

i wanted to make sure i didnt have any clearance issues so i made some mock up links out of some angle iron and used 1 3/4" hrew for the upper

i just need to build a mock up track bar and i can cycle the suspension
i got the mock up track bar all mounted and cycled the suspension today, everything cleared when i flexed the front suspension but when i tried to cycle the suspension to full bump i ran into some clearance issues with the upper link mount hitting the frame about 1" before full bump.

1" before full bump

heres where the heim makes contact with the frame, im gonna move the bracket over about an inch and cut off the part of the bottom of the frame that sticks out a little

i got the upper link mount to fit today and got the 7" of up travel i was looking for

i dont think i showed how i was mounting the upper on the frame end, i cut a hole in the floor and cut out a piece of 1/4" plate and drilled some in it and plug welded it to the frame and welded the outside of the plate to the frame

im gonna plate the floor around the link mount with some 10 guage steel so i had my buddy cut it out on his new cnc machine for a case of beer because i didnt want to drill all those holes ha

i got the links built i used 2" .250 wall DOM for the lowers and 1 3/4" .120 wall DOM for the upper. the lowers are 24" eye to eye and the upper is 27"

primered, i should be able to paint them tomorrow

thanks guys
i took advantage of FOA's memorial day sale and ordered the rest of my shocks, i ordered 2.5" 2" stroke air bumps for the front and ordered some 2.5" 16" smooth bodies for the rear
i got the air bumps, the smooth bodies are still being built

i couldnt start the driver side front frame plates because the jackstand was in the way so i finally got around to moving the jackstand and finally started plating the driver side
JKS SBS finally installed, the rest of the front frame plates should be built soon

once i'm done with the front frame plates im gonna get started on the engine cage
