the drive way ornament
ive deemed my jeep the driveway ornament because i never drive it. I've done a 4" peiced together lift with all brand new parts under $550.00 with full spring lift, no spacers & nitrogen shocks. I just replace stuff thats wore out when i have time. ive had her for going on 8mo and have put under 3500mi on it but when i do get to drive it i love it. my neice just got her drivers liscence and shes put more miles on it than i have, heres a few pics, I have tons of plans and no time to do them.
it sits perfectly level, the driveway makes it look like its sagging in the rear
ive replaced and trimmed the front caps to clear the tires, PO butched the bottoms off of them
heres my old 98 tj back in 2000

blew a wheel cylinder so i replaced all of it, wheel cyl./shoes/ and drums. its stops damn good now and im in the midst of putting on my bushwacker flares and repainting the end caps to match
less than 24hrs in the driveway
nastiness
yumminess
FYI advance auto price matches rockauto, got all my parts for under $75.00
right rear flare complete, i will paint the end caps to match
next is exhaust revamp since my driveshaft smacks the flange under compression

Wow, what a difference! The 10" width sets it off too.
Totally agree about the black wheels.

i bet you had lots of fun polishing those, my mom has crome wheels on her firechicken (firebird w/ v6) and i always have to get after them with the all the moisture and salt in the air down here. not fun, and her car even sits in the garage all the time
