I like the finished edge, but I did the same thing with the door edge trim. The problem is over time the glue won't hold as the sheet metal is very thin, not as thick as the edge of a door. I then found that locking edge trim that is used in furniture is wider and will lock onto the thin edge. Just a suggestion if the door trim doesn't hold up.

im starting on the rear fenders sometime either tommorow are this weekend. probbly after i take my act test friday any tips before i start hackin away?

How's the rear trimming going? Waitin to see some pics! I'm going start on my rack again in a few minutes. Got the brushes changed and ready for some more cutting. Just haven't had time with the new baby. Should get most of the cutting done today and my dad will hopefully be able to weld it all tomorrow. I'd try but I'm not a welder yet! Don't have any scrap iron to practice on but I will once I'm done with the rack! I'll have some pics on my thread probably tomorrow night hopefully of the finished product.
