That is an oem tire carrier they are not that strong.

I remember the good old pick and pulls in cleveland the problem always was the front and trans skid always had been picked and the gas tank was always on a early xj like yours.

Yeah, I would love to find the fronts. What year were they on?

And it is a factory tire carrier. They are just rare I like it!

Front and trans skids are all the same it was only the gas tank that changed with generations due to switching from a metal tank to a plastic one.

That didnt help me at all. I still dont know which ones have the front and trans. Is it the ones with the tank skid or?

Most xj's that had the other skid plates had the front it all depends how it was ordered from the factory. The other problem is when the most xj's needed the front serviced most shops would take them off and never find there way back on.

Well it's been awhile, thanks to the cold and less hours at work!

But I'm headed to pick up some soft 8's from summit then to get my 32's bfg at's and 2" shackles for my saggin rear. This should hold be over till the weather breaks and I can actually start doing some nice things to her.

The maintenance Req. light is on, on my 91 aswell, And it was diagnostics to be the electric fan in mine.

From what I have found us they came in at like 100k miles and you h e to replace it or some bs. Im just unplugging it.

Ok put the shackles on the rear but still have some sag, must have been more then I thought. Owell it will hold me over till I get new leaf packs in late spring.
