Local JY has half off on all parts. Picked up a front skid plate off a 99 XJ hidden in the back. 5 bucks. Just got done pressure washing it and painting. Pics tomorrow.

Also recieved my poly bushings for the tie rid today. Probably install that tomorrow as well. I decided to wait to install the brown dog motor mounts until I'm due for an oil change.

Happy Days. 4x4 is fixed. Shifter rod was to long. Cured my DW for know. It appears the trac bar mount bracket had a bolt loosen. I'm about to get the damn thing welded in place.

Pretty impressed with the quality. Vibes aren't that bad at all.

Install took about an hour and a half. That's moving pretty slow too.

Detours XJ Tailbone Tire Carrier Installed. Took most of the day to install. Very straightforward. Hardest part was getting the stock bolts and bumper off. Just need to get some nuts for the bolts to hold the spare on.

Looks like good way to keep stock appearance and price down. Worth the price? Is it sturdy enough for recovery? Any rattle noise while driving?

I definitely think it is well priced and quite the value. I've had it installed for a short while now and no issues. No rattling while driving and I've been pulled out a few times using the recovery points.
