Default DD WJ

Hey all. You all know about my crawler. So here is my dd that I have been working on. I bought it last week when it was stock. Since then I've added the RC 4" lift with the 2.2 series shocks, 31.5" Mud Claw tires, and 16" Dick Cepek DC2 wheels. This is all I pretty much going to do with it because the XJ is my wheeler and not this. It's a 2002 Grand Cherokee Overland with the V8 and tow package. It has every feature on it that was ever offered and it's alot of fun.

Now for the pics!

I was sick of the tires rubbing a little. So I put 2 more inches of lift on it. Pretty happy with it now. It now sits on 6" of lift. I gotta figure something out with my trac-bar tho. It has major death wobble when I hit bumps.

With the six inch did you replace or use a spacer( relo brkt.) for rear y link? I have an 04 that I am the proud owner of and plans include a DD build camping rig.

the kit came with a rear spacer for the "y" link. These WJs are pretty nice machines. However, the wheel wells are really small. I don't think that even with the 6" of lift, I can get bigger tires under it without it rubbing. And i don't trust myself to cut them up because it will end up looking like my crawler lol.

No wheeling pics of this one haha. It's just a mall crawler.

thanks all for the compliments on it.

Bring it on by the shop we'll get it trimmed up for ya, and make you some trail worthy protection. Nice looking WJ. Hope mine turns out as nice.

I appreciate it. But I do my work myself lol. I just know that if I started to trim it, I would end up building it like my crawler. Cause my crawler used to be my DD lol. What's your plans for your WJ?
