Picked up some MDF board for my cargo storage project. Gonna built a false floor with 2 drawers to hide tools, spare parts, etc. Covet it with carpet and maybe put some tie downs on it

Thanks.
Gonna have to buy some of those L brackets to strengthen the drawers. Just tore the front off one.

Ran out of fabric too.
Will finish that part up soon.
Got the entire box covered though

I really wanted to build a TJ..so I traded for one.
Tjs are worth so much more than xjs anyways.

After owning a wrangler I'd never own another unless it was an LJ or a JKU. Not enough room for me.

I can see that being an issue. I wish they could have made the cargo area on the XJ's a bit wider and longer, but then again it does surprise me what I can fit back there given the space. Plus it is nice not driving around something with a tank of a body.

Looking forward to the build of this one. Go big or go home.

Found an 8.8.. Gotta see if I can come up with the $ for it. May do that, then find a waggy 44 front and copy ol LR2s setup.

Dont see myself running anything bigger than 35s.

May go with 5.5" of lift on this one just for a big more clearance. Or 4.5 and then trusses which will add the extra 1"

Glad to see you back in an Xj. I followed you 2000 build. Can't wait to see what you do with this one. It looks very clean!

This happened.

Wheeled today...
The all terrains did incredibly well...I hate mud but it was unavoidable today...they plowed through as good as my buddies bfgs...
Jeep did great today need to add bumps top and run through the front end...something was popping..thinking its just a tre.

Happy with the 3" and 33s though for now
