Where have all this works been done?
Well.... good question!!
An good workshop is hard to find here in the UAE
With the best recomandation I got Alyasy 7 Performance

They usualy build that kind of engines and they are for sure the best, if you want to have an unique engine!!! They did already strokers before and I am very happy with there work! (nevertheless I am there every day!)

What shall I say? They never spend 1 dirham for advertising but I had to wait for my build up 3 weeks to get an apointment!!They are bussy like hell and you sould see who are there customers.... many very well knowen persons!!
Also they participate at the drag race @ yas marina circuit (pro street7 with an Nissan Skyline 1080 RWHP) and at the Liwa dune race. The Nissan partrol above has 2000 RWHP with an 4 step NOS injection out of an 9L V8 race engine

Phase IV: testing, trouble shooting
So, now I have ~400 Km on the clock and everything runs fine. Just the already mentioned bugs are to be fixed. I checked every 40-50 Km the engine and searched for leakages or lose hoses / cables. Seams to be OK. Temperature seam to be OK as well with 190-200 F in city traffic as same as on the highway. Oil pressure is on idle at 18-20 and with 2000 at 50 PSI. So seam to be OK as well. See the pictures below from the first oel change (@160km). Everything clean and clear. I believe this is an indication for an good workmanship from 7Performance!
First bug to fix are!
- batery to change -- Done--
- small oil leak at the rear side of the oil pan
- small coolant leak at the lower hose connection to the water pump
- exhausted header to be changed with an model from 1999 (car is from2001 and Head from 1999) --bought but not build in jet--
- Accle Injectors to install with new fuel rail.--arranged and ready at Saturday--

Kuddos, Looks really good

It is a lot of time and money to build a motor. I'm also curious to what the power and Tq#'s are on it.

Difficuld to day without dyno run. Target was 275hp @ 4900rpm, 333lbft @ 3500rpm The 4.7L is an "torque monster". I lowered the CR to 9.1-1 during my build up. I needed to keep the deck witn 0.020" in order to have no problems with the push rod lenghs. So I will lose 5 HP. In the next weeks I have to install the Unichip Q anyway and then I will have a Dyno run before and after.

From what I feel now, it won't be fare away from the 275HP. The weels starts spinning so quickly, that I have to be careful at the traffic light

Aaaannnnddddd I still have some extras for the engine ongoing.

Yes, it is the connection from the downpipe to the exhaust. Very nasty thing. I had the 2001 Block with the 0360 Head, which is very well knowen for his weakness. So I did nit want to use the head. I changed it with an 0630 Head from the earlier XJs. Everything fitting but the exhaust headers not. Schould not be a problem and I had the erlier header already with me, but to my surprice I found out that I have the california emission package and needed to rebuild the entier exhaust, thats why there is that funny "gasket" at the downpipe. It was blowing out everywhere. But it was just for the first days, till I get the proper parts.

It took me 2,5 months from the order of the parts till the first start up. Costs 5000$ and some hairs from my head....but was worths evey cent. It is so powerfull and sounds so mean in low RPM....keeps me smiling evey time I drive it!!!
