Nice work!
I really like the picture of you under your rig with the oil pan off! I would be smilen too if I got all that work done on my rig. I am in the process of reworking my front end with drop brackets. I like the cross member/drop brackets you used, looks pretty solid!
Nice rig, hope to see more great videos this summer.

Thank you, I have done my best to plan her out to what I found I was happy with. I'm currently saving for gears, won't be able to do a front locker quite yet. However I'll be going to a jeep and drive for work come August and would like to have 4.56s installed by the time I have to road trip to Colorado. Anyway, went out to test out my new fly reel. Had a great Easter morning, landed two little rainbows. I then took off and explored some easy two track. I've been dailying it since I got her done. So, I parked her and will daily the good 'ol GC. Anyway, here's a non-related jeep picture, and a picture of Judith the Jeep
First catch of the season!
Out exploring the Bald Hills in the Black hills. I absolutely love this rig

Oh, also. I had something done on 4x4 day. This Jeep means the world to me, I’ve always wanted to get an ode to the Jeep. I figured this is perfect.
Just in case I forgot the pattern...

Colorado in August?
What are you planning to do out here in Colorado in August? Doing some trails?
I am currently working on my rig. I am hoping to have it back on the road by the end of May.
I have so many plans for the summer, but with all that's happining (vacations w/my wife) I really want to get some week end trips
To some of my favorite locations. (Ouray, Beunna-Vista and something new). To run some trails in those areas.
I plan on camping from my rig each weekend. I also am trying to add gears (4.56) and lockers but if it doesn't happen
This year I will make sure it does for next season. Just don't want to miss out on a summer full of wheeling.

Found a few photos from last year. Trails were supposed to open the 15th of May this year, however with all the rain we've gotten they have continued to keep them closed down. Here's a few photos from Hells canyon area, on a snowy day last year.

We had a large amount of rain during the winter also. Glad to see they've given us a break.
Keep sharing the pics! Just went through all of them. You are enjoying it well.

Just keep on Jeepin' on
I'll keep it short and sweet! I picked up a set of IRO leaf springs from a good friend in North Dakota, proceeded to swap those under the jeep with a Rusty's .75" shackle and IROs eighth optional leaf. Went out with a great group of friends down a trail called Iceman. We also had a friends bone stock JL Rubicon with us. It's ranked as a 6, but I'd say 6+, with all the erosion we have had! Anyway, here's some photos!

Not much new going on here! I had some friends visiting from my home state. Took him through some scenic mild trails with alot of history. I got hung up trying to take the fun way, figured I would show off and winch it on up off my diff. Made for a super scenic shot. I also picked up a 1999 4.0 in great shape for $325 that I will give some love and eventually swap into it. I have some other odds and ends for adventures planned. Anyway, enjoy the scenery!

The beginning of the end
So, to keep you all in the loop. Recently I took my ever so amazing girl friend to the big horns. We took the GC up a few easy trails. Then, on a 14 mile, in and out hike. I proposed, She has supported me in all my endeavors, and has pushed me to be a better person. Anyway, I haven't installed too much on good Ol' Judith. I was able to track down a confer rack out in Colorado. Was able to get that cleaned up and on the roof. We had had a bunch of adventures in the Black Hills this summer. From camping trips to fly fish, to exploring the ghost towns of times gone by. However, all good times come to an end. With winter right on our heels, Judith is officially showing age. By age, I mean rod knock. Sadly, I've developed an intense knock from what I believe is the cam bearings. Unfortunately, I currently don't have the funds to afford a new Engine. So, looks like Judith, the adventure pig will be taking a rest for quite some time. I've got several other small things I can take care of in the mean time. However, I don't have the space to accomplish such goals any longer. So, I will part with some photos of our latest adventures. I will update while I can, here's to hoping we aren't down for the count, and that this is only temporary. Keep on Jeepin' on.
Moment after the big question was asked, and thankfully She said Yes!
Landing the "Best catch of my life".
the GC put in some awesome work on this trip, its time for some love.
Up on top of Hunt mountain. 11,398ft.
Getting out enjoyimg the time in Judith, while she knock, knock, knocks away.
God I love this thing

Well,I had a part out motor I had plans to rebuild. I sat down, and added up the costs. I discovered that after parts, and machine work. It would be CHEAPER to purchase a short block, reman TUPY head, and install that. So, I'm pinching those pennies to save up and get it stated!

Be curious as to who you might deal with for the remanned short block. I have an '00 and couple TUPY heads in "stock".
