Compliment to Soldier son
Quote: I've got to say usually i'm not a big fan of the pre '97 xj's but I really, truly like this one. You've managed to build something with a clean cut look and set-up. And thanks for your son's service in the Army, my Brother is in the Army as well.

As a Disabled Navy Vet I also must complient him on building this for his son. and with a son in the Army reserves I mustsay that this is awesome. Again Dad should be given major kudos as well as the young man in the Army. What the young man is doing is both honorable and I have to say he has earned both respect and honor from other parents and veterans,

MAJOR KUDOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I firmly believe the country would be in a much better condition if other parents of young adults that have joined the service are both complimented and given many thanks.

The 4:10 gears are installed with the True Track and 29 spline rear shafts. All the power is back. What a difference gears make.

This is a great week. My son starts his journey home this week. After a few stops in various countries via the US Air Force he will be coming back to us safe and sound. Thank you all for your kind words and support. I have left a few part for our build laying around the garage the last few months because I want to finish the build with my son when he gets home. I'll keep posting updates and pictures as we go.

You develop your own "vehicular-entry" technique. Usually TJ/YJ owners use the front tire and steering wheel. I just pop up into my XJ.

And yes, this is OFF TOPIC!!!

My son is finally back home. I couldn't be happier. Hopefully he will be bored off his butt for a few months until his enlistment is up and then go to college. All, of course, while driving his new Jeep.

Looks like it's repair time. Some idiot in her Mercedes crossed the double yellow line into the car pool lane and clipped the right front of the XJ. Destroyed the right fender and cracked the grill.
