Im only guessing but for a small impact gun? or never know when you might have to try and fill a deflating tire and hope you can make it..Also could be for if he ever has to partially deflate his tires for say sand? he can re inflate them back up to road driving psi..Air tanks are quite handy off roading

your right i live in long island ny and theres mostly sand and beaches to ride out here so i need it to refill the tires after i air down

For me and my 31 m/t's, I run 40 psi on the road and 10psi on the sand.

i usually use 35-40 on the road ad about 15 on the sand
