Got my booster/MC swap done today. For those of you looking for the renix era booster swap. A booster and mc out of a 96 is almost a bolt in.

Now for the non bolt in part.

I ground out the rod end, replacment is too small for the brake switch. I did it with a die grinder, you could use a drill bit(5/8) but i didn't have one, so die grinder it was.
once the right size was achieved...i welded a "flat" on the back of the rod and ground it flat. the dlat keeps the brake switch from rotating out of position.

now, the m/c uses metric bubble flares, and the porp. valve uses standard double flare. You can use adapters, but it just addes a place for it to leak. To solve this, i bought some metric bubble flare line(about 12") bubble both ends, cut it in half so i had the bubbles..the swapped in the fittings and just did a double flare like factory at the porp valve

I feel that pain... I made the mistake of running 19's on the G37 because of the CA roads around here... didn't realize that the 19" shoes ran more than 20's in my size!
