Great pictures. I love that roof rack. Never seen one quite like it. Did you make it? Alps are quite a bit different than I would have thought.

I just moved back from the Oberpfalz, and you've already made me homesick for Deutschland and Europe. We lived there two years, but never had a 4x4, because of the insane cost of gas, but the Army gave me a Cherokee to off-road in Hohenfels.
From your license, are you from Darmstadt? Or am I confusing the DA for somewhere else?

Jan, do you miss the siderails on the rack? Contemplating selling my wilderness rack and making a flat platform similar, using my 4 Thule crossmembers.
