This is goin to be my build thread on my 2000 xj sport. it is all stock and needs some small cosmetic work bit other than that she has 139k on the clock and is running strong. The first owner apparently pulled it begging their rv and it only has around 80k driving miles and the rest pulled miles.

So far i've added my Yakima loadwarrior basket with extension. I also have a used Ramsey rep8000 winch waiting to be mounted, and a magnaflow 14" straight through muffler.


Stuff on order is a
Smittybilt xrc winch bumper
Superchips trailjammer ext includes-- Cai, flash paq, and 62mm throttle body.
Sony deck with iPod connection.
all of these will be here this week and hopefully I can get them installed next weekend!!!

33x10.50 bfg KM2 tires on stock wheels
Cubby speaker box
JL 500/1 amp
JL 10w7 sub
Kicker 5.25" speakers
Kicker 200.4 highs amp
Custom rear bumper
Onboard air system
Front powertracs locker
SYE
CV drive shafts
All halogen bulbs converted to LED and HID
LED light bars for roof rack
And necessary trail gear of course.....

Yea too late, and actually all I could do is install the programmer. And I felt a small amount of throttle response improvement..... And it has special features, tire size, increased idle speed, timing advance.... and diagnostic troubleshooting.

 

Winch bumper is at the house!!!!! Along with some more audio stuff!! Will be installing bumper and winch Saturday, along with everything else!!

 

Sounds like this thing is about to be a beast...fast

 

Well I should have it all done by the end of January. I'm having to wait till xmas for the lift and tires. But those are really the two major things I need......

 

New bumper, trail jammer combo, and sony head unit!!!




Oh and for the ones who doubt the Superchips trailjammer kit. I felt a huge difference!!! All I have to do is install the new muffler and it'll be even better.

.next mod will be new 4 nozzle injectors to help smooth everything out .

 

Just ordered all my recovery gear

7/8" D-rings
Smittybilt recovery kit
Smittybilt fairlead

Next I will either get a used set of 30x9.50's or an Aussie locker for the front.... Gonna go ahead and trim my fenders so I won't have to later lol

And last will be start blacking the trim, wheels and other pieces out.

 

Magnaflow 14" installed! Then dumped over the axle. Sounds great for an I6

 

Also just mounted the winch!! Its dirty but works perfect!!
Waiting for the new fairlead, and d-rings so it will be complete and ready for done pulling!!

 

Well i did away with the stock wheels and went with a set of 03 Rubicon wheels i picked up locally!!! $300 for 5 wheels and tires
