Spacers and blocks are getting chucked in the trash. Than I gotta see how it sits. I'll most likely grab LA's in the near future. Steering I am trying to decide which high steer vendor I'll go with.
There is no SYE. Scary... I ordered a SYE from Advanced Adapters. I will install that after I decide the ride height so I can get a rear shaft made.

Again. I have not done any work to this truck yet. This is how I bought it. Just sitting in my back yard while I wait for parts to be delivered.
I am going to correct all the BS hackery.
Wow, just wow. Be sure to thank the PO for all his bad decisions. Will be following this one!

Yea I almost backed out on the purchase seeing all the bs but there's no rot or rust existing except for a small spot on the passenger floor.
Decided to save it!

Have you driven it? I'm curious how it drives. Maybe PO knew something we all didn't. Might ride like a Caddy and handle like a Vette.

I drove it around my back yard. Feels very very stiff in the front because the front shocks are too short.

Interesting. Years ago when my driving record was TERRIBLE, I owned a 79 Camaro w/ a 305 v8. I asked my insurance agent if I put a v6 in it, would my insurance go down. She told me it goes by the vin, not what's actually in there. So then I asked, I should buy a v6 car and drop a blown BBC in it? She didn't like that question...

Long story short, your insurance should be cheaper with the 4 cylinder vin.

I forgot all about that till some guys at worked mentioned insurance rates vs engine displacement . I insured the truck this morning!

Brake lines showed up!
Water pump came other day. Still waiting on a high steering and Slip Yoke eliminator. Once I have the brakes working I'll drive this to the shop and pull the spacers out and install the high steer. Than align it.
Hopefully our machine will read this truck.. lol

Very cool find. MJ's seem to all be rot boxes up here. What side of the river are you on? I might see you out on the street or trail once that thing is safe.

Yea unfortunately it's shame so many are gone. Last one I saw was in Brookfield CT like 5 years ago. Some kid had it and was beating the hell out of it. Dunno what he ever did with it.
I'm in the Torrington county.
