Well I'm gonna be a busy guy working on the Jeep here in the next month I hope. Tracking information on my new front bumper says it will be here Tuesday, so next weekend I'll be installing my new bumper, the Quadratec 9500LB winch, The JCR steering box spacer, and a rugged ridge steering box brace.
Also preparing to pull the trigger on some 4.88 Gears, install kits, and a new front carrier so I can go back to having some power and better drive ability.
I'll leave you with a picture from last weekends wheeling trip.

Yeap, castlerock isn't far at all :-) I appreciate the compliment. I'm really excited to get the front bumper mounted up and mount the winch, it's really going to set off the look.

Figured I'd update this post with a couple pictures. I finally got the bumper and was able to mount up my winch after making my own winch plate. I coated it with Rustolem spray on liner which I've had good luck with. I even had a chance to test out the winch dragging the Jeep across the yard towards a backhoe. I'll throw up more pictures and edit the beginning of this thread with more information and pictures later on but for now here we are...

What are the specs of your wheels? Im guessing 15x8 w/ 3.75 BS... Im looking at buying the same flares which is why I ask. trying to see see how much tire coverage they give. Also, do you have a picture looking staright down the side showing where the tire is in relation to the flare?
Awesome lookin XJ BTW!!!!!

Thats a perfect pic!!! I think im sold on these flares now. I just need to figure out how they will work with my JCR corner guards. since the rear quarters are 3/16'' thicker, they arent going to line up with the door piece.
also, are they bolted on? or held on with self tapping screws?
