Default Planning Ahead

Long time no talk boys and girls. Having joined the army in Nov i havnt even been home to try working on my jeep. But im saving up money and as soon as i get stationed and set up somewhere i plan on picking up my jeep and continuing to fix and build it.
I need to start with all the little problems, still no lights, most of the guages dont work, and my 4 wheel drive went out about a month before i left. After fixing all the little stuff though i have some ideas for going bigger.
im thinking new axles, most likely dana 44 front and rear. then uping the lift to 5-6inches. with that i could probably roll some 35-37 inchers under it.
its going to be a little while so i have time to think and go over any ideas from anyone. so feel free to pitch in.
Hope everyone is doing well and i cant wait to get back with my jeep.

Hey man, just read your build. That's quite the artisan interior. Being a multi-generational woodworker myself, I'm very impressed with the interior... and the chop is very clean too. I hope you haven't abandoned this project, and thank you for your service on this fine Memorial Day as well.
