Haha yeah it was pretty bad there for awhile, luckily I've got some new rubber going on soon.
Here is all four tires. The top two I bought from a guy that works at the local Jeep dealership, he had these just laying in the shop and no one wanted them. They are brand new never mounted and still have the stickers on them. The very bottom tire was used as a full size spare and has maybe 50 miles on it according to the guy I bought it from. The second from bottom tire has about 5k miles on it and is worn a little unevenly, but still has plenty of tread on it. I got all of them for $440.
Didn't have a coin so I used a washer. There is a lot of rubber there.

Yea man the all terrains get caked with mud and dont clean out very well.... Tested them out tonight at our wheeling spot and was a bit disappointed

b) If the XJ wasn't my DD and I didn't drive on the road 95% of the time, I would opt for MTs.
c) MTs are useless on ice and on hard packed snow (just ask my friend with his 35" KM2s), which is what the roads here in the Appalachians are covered with all the way through the winter months. My roommate has had KOs on his Jeep for several years and they have served him very well up here.
d) I got a good deal on them.

Rusty's exhaust came in today.
Out with the old.
In with the new.
All I can say is wow.
The XJ sounds so beast now, but it is also a very tame sound, not at all what I expected from a Cherry Bomb. I'll give it a few weeks to break in good then I'll upload a sound clip. It purrs and rumbles, it doesn't scream and annoy everyone.
Flares will go on Wednesday and CB setup will be installed Thursday.

Dropped the Jeep off at the shop this morning, I'll be picking it back up this afternoon. 33s are going on as I type this.

Just picked the Jeep up, she's sittin' on 33s!
Parked kinda crooked on a hill but you get the idea. Flat fenders go on tomorrow, but now I'm about to go for a cruise

a) That doesn't interest me, I do very little in the mud.

Made a little progress tonight with the CB install.
Bracket was a little big.
I can fix that.
Fits nicely.
Making a bracket to hold up my CB, I'm going to put it between the sun visors.
Cut out.
Painted.
More progress tomorrow after work, right now I'm too tired to keep going.
