Thanks, I'm really wanted some snow but this winter has been so warm that I haven't felt like wheeling recently.
Yeah I don't blame you, busted knuckles hurt 5 times worse when it's cold out.

I worked on the 240 a lot today but I also finally got around to changing the oil in the Jeep again. It is a lot easier to get up under the Jeep than that little Nissan.

Awesome build man love the way the jeep is coming together nice work. And pretty stoked someone out there has my two favorite vehicles! Have always loved and owned cherokees and the nissan 240sx!! Great cars love the way they handle, a blast to drive. Is it a 1993, and how many miles?

My old Z, I will always miss it.
Whew, just went through all the pages. Good build and great color.
Number one, eat something man, that PBnJ ain't doing it. You're like 125lbs.
Number two, shoulda kept that z32!
Nice pics of wheelin up in Boone.

It doesn't matter what I eat, my metabolism goes through it like a fat kid through a bag a marshmallows. Doesn't bother me, I'm comfortable with who I am.
Wish I could've, but it was very impractical for a guy that is on his own and paying his own bills while putting himself through college. I needed more room and 4wd.
Thanks

Nope, I have the stock pitman arm. With the y link design of the factory steering you can safely and easily go to 4.5", you will have no problems. It is actually recommended to keep the stock pitman arm till you go to 5" and up, then you can just get a ZJ arm for a couple of bucks at a pull-a-part, it is 1" longer than the stock XJ arm.
Thanks

Also, I'm selling my Evo, so I feel your pain. It was a nice Z32, but you're doing it right.
The sad thing is, it doesn't get any easier. Just when you get to a point where you can buy what you want, your priorities change, family, whatever, and you end up back where you were.
Anyway, back on topic, loving your Jeep. I definitely think it is the best XJ color and trim level.

After bashing through some mud holes the diff was pretty covered.

On our way out we saw these, they belong to a guy named Rick, he always has a bunch of awesome stuff sitting out front.

Carnage!
After we finished the trail and were getting back on the main road my exhaust fell off... again lol.

SO LOUD
I wrapped a clothes hanger around the exhaust and tied it up to the frame rail as best as I could to get it home. I'll work on it when I have some light and it is cooled off.

You call it redneck, I call it ingenuity haha. Everyone should keep a wire clothes hanger and a pair of pliers in their Jeep.

Haha thanks, the 240 is a 91. I had a 300zx before and it was super sexy and fun to drive but the 240sx is A LOT easier to maintain and work on. The 240 has over 200k miles but it still runs good and I plan to run it till it dies, then swap it and run some more haha.
