Looking better and better man! Nice job on the lights. What brand HID's did you go with? I like the headlights you got because they look like stock when they're off. I was going to do the wiring harness upgrade originally with my Silverstars but I like the HID look.

Sitting at firestone right now waiting while the jeep gets aligned.. If you wheel your jeep a lot, or make front suspension changes somewhat frequently, look into firestones lifetime alignment. I paid $149 and get alignments whenever I want, as long as I own the jeep, at any firestone in the country. Pretty good deal if you ask me.
The only con is sometimes firestone techs can't align a lifted jeep to save their lives. Luckily there is a great tech at my local location.

Well I just picked up the rough country 1.5-4.5" adjustable track bar (part number 7572 I think) from fat bobs garage. I got it for $124 out the door with tax.
This is their new (2nd generation) adjustable track bar and it's supposed to be a lot stronger. It sure looks beefy.
Now, the question is how much longer does the adjustable track bar need to be than the stock track bar? Usually when people relocate their track bar they move it over 3/4".. So does that mean I should extend the adjustable one 3/4" more than the stock one??

Yeah I've been thinking about sanding down my front and rear bumpers then bed lining them. I've also got my eye on a couple diffenent aftermarket front bumpers from both roxolid and quadratec. Both run about $200.
On another note, I've been driving around all night enjoying my new hid set up! Huge difference compared to the factory sealed beams. The entire conversion cost me just under $90. That's including the autopal headlights, mid grad hid kit, and the upgraded wire harness with relay. Definitely a worthwhile and inexpensive mod.

I got them from my buddy who owns an online hid business. I can hook you up, you'll be about $70 with bulbs, ballasts, relay harness, and shipping. He's out of Cali but shipping is usually 3-4 days nation wide. By the time you buy your headlights you'll be in the entire hid conversion about $100. Pm me for more info.

My XJ is going to be promoting new control arms for Fat Bob's Garage, my local off road shop (www.fatbobsgarage.com). They are fixed arms and will be sold for use with 3" lifts. This being said, I'm getting an awesome deal on fixed lower control arms and quick disconnects!
I'm going in tomorrow so we can install the new arms and take some flex measurements. I should have a few pics up tomorrow. My XJ should also be on their website when they start selling the new control arms!
Check out their website, they have a lot of XJ parts!
