Ok so I have a 98 xj 4.0 5 speed on a 4.5 RC lift sittin on 37 swampers. I just replaced wheel cydlers 2 weeks ago and already blew one out so I was thinkin about upgrading the brakes with disk brakes off a zj. My qustion is what all would I need off the grand cherokee to swap over to my 98 or could I do it? Any info would be great thanks for any help

 

wrong section...... but you will need the backing plate, caliper mount, caliper, rotor and pads. you will need to file down the new backing plate and mount just a little bit to fit on the 8.25 axle you have, unless you find a jeep liberty. they have rear disc brakes with a 8.25 axle. all you would need to do is install it on the axle with no mods.
