Very cool, I'm still trying to gather all this air ride knowledge... I just started a 1970 C10 project and I want nothing more than to lay frame to the pavement!

NICE! I've been doing air ride since before I could drive. If you want some help, PM me anytime. I can set you in the right direction for your project.

This is my old ride.

Air ride is my addiction.

Nice! Ya I've been into mini trucks, air ride, rat rods (obviously since I got one), anything oldies pretty much since I was very young. I drew a rendering of a 93 Cherokee slammed when I was 17. I'll try and find it.

Whats your bagged truck?

A guy with Relaxed Atmosphere started a 2 door XJ on air. He never finished it and it wasn't doored. And I know a guy in Georgia with a Commanche on air with a S10 front clip, it'll be wicked nice when its finished.

There was a 4 door XJ that was on air, I have only ever seen one picture of it. Its grey and blue and it wasn't even close to done when I saw it.

Thumbs up

I am going to agree with a lot of people, I don't like lowered vehicles myself, but the roads where I live, my partially lowered Probe cracked its bumper... alot.

Anyway, although not my cup of tea, I must admit, especially to the people dissing your project, We, the lifting community, put springs and shocks under our vehicles... This man did something differant, and way to much for me to ever want to do (lol) and did the seemingly impossible.

Not knocking, but when I saw the pic I was thinking... what if he goes around a sharp curve at 35? lol. Didn't realize you could raise it to stock-ish.

Is that your Anti-Theft Protection- People would have to drag it instead of drive it? lol. That would deter alot of people.

Congrats on all the hard work you put into this guy. Rather impressive craftsmanship.

This is the first one I've seen done this way and have to say;

"Very well done"

Your craftsmanship is outstanding. Very clean work. Can't wait to see it work.

Keep it up and show those haters the other side of the spectrum.

haha not so much antitheft, but it is "anti-tow". I can park anywhere and nobody can do anything lol.

Thank you for all the love. No matter how much time we have in our rides, and no matter how much work is done, everyones rig is their own. I have mad respect for you crazy bastards wheelin' your rigs at ridiculous angles, bouncing off trees, crawlin' over crazy rocks with your heads sticking out your window

I should have some progress this week on the floors and the front end.

so being that you named it project troll, I intially thought you were trolling the forum for a response so I had a small go at you lol, then due to a quote fail you seemingly responded to my comment with the anwser to someone elses comment causing confusion. that being said.

Alot of work and fab went into this and I can appreciate that. I'm looking forward to updates on it, expecially with how you do the floor.

any idea as to how many man hours and dollars you have invested into this?

Also when you cut out the unibody and entire floor, did you have to brace everything to keep it from twisting or was the body itself rigid enough to not crack the windsheild / deform?
