hahaha a well crafted sentence, sir!
Naw, I love the haters. And when you're asking "why a Cherokee" its because I can. And now I have the lowest XJ around. There is a long back story as to why I started this project...if you're interested. But theres not much love around here so far :P
you say its stupid...but have you ever dragged frame at 100mph?

Look, man I hold no anomosity towards anybody. Yeah I built it as a big "F you" (sorry MODS if thats too much) to the offroad and 4x4 community. But I don't disrespect anything that anybody does to their vehicle. Its just his opinion that he thinks its stupid, and its just my life style that its more fun to get low than to get muddy.
I am waiting on a set of doors coming to me this Saturday. But it doesn't have rockers haha. Laying true door and custom door sills. The bottom of the door is rotten as this was a trail rig until last spring.
I welcome all hate, and all love from everybody on this forum. I will post the fab write up later.
Cheers!
I honestly like the look of this thing! Ya its a cherokee, ya most of them are lifted...but dare to be different!
I'm super excited to see more! Would be sick to tub/mini tub the rear & run some nice fattys under..stroke that 5.0 and have a dumper cherokee than can run 11's or so!

Gotta say that I thought it was photoshopped until I looked closer. I myself have a couple of lowered Hondas and enjoy their attributes and despise their drawbacks, but they are fun. I also have lifted vehicles that I share the same sentiment about. Dare to be different. That is how new ideas are born, and I congratulate you. Would I do that to my Jeep? No, but I have layed frame on Rangers, S10s, and Nissan Hardbodies. Just depends on the mood and the vehicle.
Lots of work, and good job on putting your idea into reality.

to each their own right? i personally want to build a dropped comanche.
and its cherokeeforum, not 4x4 offroad rock crawlin mud slingin cherokee forum......
.
and to those who said cherokees were made for offroading, you are incorrect. they were meant to get groceries. we make them into offroad vehicles. hence no frame....
what are your plans for bumpers?
