Oh yeah definitely worth the drive for a nice relaxing weekend. No crazy wheelin so don't expect Uwharrie or anything like that, but beautiful landscape, great camping and fun wheelin'.

Great pics of your trip. You guys doing the beach get together this summer?
I think there's been talk of august this year. I've got a baby due July 19th so I won't be able to make it July. MAYBE august if I'm lucky.

I guess the battle wagon is telling me she doesn't want or need sway bars. So I'm just going to take it off. I should be installing my rear bolstering this week too.
Hecks yeah you need to ditch it. And bolstering? Don't you mean Bilstein's?Originally Posted by Red82

Thanks Matt! It has been quite an adjustment having two now. But here is a pic of our new future Jeeper!

On the kids note:
My 1.5 year old girl made me proud. About a week before our son was born I had taken our daughter to visit my folks. Mom ended up joining us after she got off work. We were finally going home and I was going to put my daughter in mom's car because it has ac and it's been so hot. We walked past the Jeep and she started freaking out, "beeeeep, beeeeep!" I asked her of she wanted to ride in the Jeep and she goes yes! And nods her head. So we rode home in the Jeep together! She even recognizes Jeeps on the rode now. I love my girl!
